Hello Sunday...! What are you gonna bring for me? What's in the store for me?

I'm missing some of good times in the past lately, because some of my friends who used to close to me and was part of my days aren't here anymore. That's life...

So I posted this picture because today is dedicated to the good times in the past :) Cheers...!

Sunny day at botanical garden and good friends

What I like about botanical garden is its shadiness. Far away from hustle bustle of the capital. Bogor Botanical garden is only about an hour drive from Jakarta. Tired of shopping malls, restaurants, lounges, and clubs... 2 weeks ago I went to botanical garden with some friends. It was Diah and I's idea to escape from Jakarta and have a "Picnic Day". Unexpectedly, some other friends interested to join us! Way to go then!

Our first plan was using train but one of my friend said he didn't mind to drive for us. Beside, we brought quite a lot foods and drinks... it's easier to use car rather than train. 2 males and 4 females were so ready for a new kind of trip :) Each of us brought something and I choose chicken wings. It was easy prepared! Other friends brought friend noodle, fruit salads, chips, juices and soft drinks.

We departed from Jakarta around 9AM and had good laughter on our way... Of course we did because we were happy ;) And yes, don't you think this cat is cute?

Sitting there... under the tree on sunny day was superb. It was one fine day and I had a great time. Thanks to good friends and sunny day :)

Birthday party on wednesday morning

Today we had small birthday party in our office, it was quite early for birthday party but it was arranged in the morning because others couldn't attend it due to meeting or must go out in the afternoon. The Birthday boy today was my boss, it's his 30th year old Birthday. Happy Birthday, Wing!

Each of us got delicious chocolate cake and ice lemon tea, yum....

Was it too early too for mouth watering cake like this? Of course not, I love cake :) Oh, I mean...WE love cake!

Look at that! Can you say NO for that sweet temptation? I bet NO :)

Easy like sunday morning

Not too early, just before lunch time my friend Dyah picked me up at my place. We headed to Grand Indonesia Shopping Centre and had an easy talk in one of the restaurant inside book store, it's in 5th floor. We sit by the window, and captured this view from where I sit.

Closed our lunch with yummy bailey's tiramisu. But we didn't finish it though it tasted good. Maybe because we both were too full with pasta we had as main course.

And continued our easy talk with strawberry splash. The theme was "Ghost from the past". We both are still haunted and had talk about it lifted up the burden slowly. That's what friends are for :) Wish us luck to escape from these ghosts.... because life goes on and we do want to let them go.

3 Girls (with same interests)

On the previous blog I mentioned I had a trip with 2 of my friends to the old town. These 2 friends of mine have the same interest in museums, history, traveling, book and cuisine. I was introduced to them about a year ago by my colleague and I really like them! Our age is about the same and three of us are single, hahahaha.... :D

Yesterday was a good day.
I had a long day and returned back home at around 11 PM. I wasn't busy at all at work, my boss was away and I had photoshop training session 1 in the afternoon with my PR Manager.

We finished afternoon briefing early at work, so we went to have dinner together with some colleagues before heading to an invitation. I'm starting my diet again this week, swimming once (will make it twice) a week, eat healthier foods, and reduce carbohydrate consumption. I need to lose some weight in healthy way. I took salad last night for dinner while other friends ordered big meal and they did make me really want to order the same meal!

From dinner, we went straight to a cocktail party held by a magazine company. It was a restaurants award, unfortunately two of our nominated outlets didnt win any :( But at least they are nominated in 2 categories. You know how much are restaurants in Jakarta? Plenty! We enjoyed free flow of wine, juices, cocktails and canape. I only took 2 glasses of red wine though. This picture was taken 2 days ago when we celebrated Santy's Birthday. It was a surprise party for her, held in one of Karaoke rooms (she loves to sing in karaoke) and arranged by her boyfriend and her friends at work (Desiree, Adi and I).
