Free days in an island!

Together with 23 friends in March, finally I got a chance to spend 2 days and 1 night in an island. This island called Tidung, part of Thousand Islands. Just 3 hours by traditional boat from north of Jakarta. I've always wanted to go to this island because I heard about its beauty from some people. This island is not as popular as other islands in Thousand Islands but as far as I know, this is the best!
24 of us gathered in Muara Angke fish market so early on Saturday morning. I woke up at 4 AM because we needed to be in the port at 5.30 AM because it's a weekend and the organizer assumed that many people will come. In fact, our boat left the port at 7AM!

3 hours on the boat was fun, we saw dophins on our way... it's fabulous! The sky was blue and the weather was so friendly! I still remember some of my friends had a doubt to join this trip due to rainy season. But, I was positive that the weather would be sunny and it's proved! Thank God! It was also prove of the positive mind strength :)

We arrived in the island at lunch time, 24 people divided into 3 houses, not so bad. The place where we stayed was clean and the backyard was facing to the sea, very nice. As we finished our lunch we started our 1st plan, Island Hoping and Snorkeling!

Snorkeling was nice here, we went to 3 spots and the journey took between 30-45 minutes from one spot to another . We had our time to get tanned on the boat during the trip! Yaaayyy!!!

The sun was going down as we finished snorkeling and island hoping. We made a stop on the other side of the Tidung island and enjoyed the beauty of sunset in this spot. It was amazing. The sky was painted in grace colors. I was thrilled. Sunset always be my favorite :)
We were so tired that night so most of my friends slept early and they missed the barbeque time! We grilled some fishes and also squids, ate them on the backyard facing to the sea accompanied with sea breeze that was pretty chilled! We slept with full stomach that night plus bonus loose bones... hahaha.... Snorkeling in 3 places was quite tiring!

I missed the sunrise moment on the other day, was too lazy to get up. Some friends rent bikes and went to the other side of the island to catch this beautiful moment, well.... for me? Maybe next time :) I'm coming back soon to this island.
