Something good from the kitchen..and earthquake :(

Lamb Mignon

Girolles Salad

Mille Feuille

Buttered Fig

Yesterday PR Manager and I assisted photographer from magazine to conduct a photo shooting in our Hotel's French Restaurant. It was fun, I love to see these guys cooking and playing in kitchen with their pan, fork, knife, meat, garnish, vegetables and many more. So interesting! Our chef is a French guy and he is well known in culinary industry in Jakarta. Our French Restaurant also have won some awards and we're so proud about it. Look at these dishes, look great in presentation... and so mouthwatering! I tasted buttered fig in the end of the session cos I never tried it before, it was fingerlickin good :D

In the middle of the shooting, we were shaken by an earthquake! We run out of the Hotel and also all the guests. The situation was panic and my feet were shaken, it was terrify. Few minutes later we got information that the central of the earthquake was in a small town of Tasikmalaya in West Java. But it can be felt by people in Java island overall. The power was 7.3 SR. That was powerful! No wonder some people killed, hundreds are injured and thousands of houses collapsed in several areas. I don't know exactly how many people were killed but last night TV reported that around 28 people killed in this tragedy. Some office buildings in Jakarta are damaged, from minor to major. That was a nightmare in the afternoon.
*God please protect us... No more disaster in this country please....*
