A lovely weekend

I had a nice weekend, visited my big sister’s family on Saturday and visited my friend and her boyfriend at his new apartment. Since I have a big plan in the beginning of August, so I need to start saving up from now. I went to my sister’s place by public transport and bit regret because I didn’t bring something for them. I used to bring something (sweets or bakeries) for them but not this time because I really really need to save up! I promised to myself that I’ll invite them for lunch in the end of this month, still thinking about the venue but I’ll save some budget for this. From her place, I went by public bus to the city centre and saw my friend there. We talked about our next trip in August and I got a cute straw hat just exactly like I always wanted. It was a lovely day and I took some photos of my cute nieces.

I woke up a bit late on Sunday morning, took sometime do nothing on my bed, cleaned up my messy room and picked up by my friend in the evening to my friend’s new apartment. He has a nice 1 bedroom apartment located in the city centre, very strategic location. We swam for around 2 hours and I met a nice (he is cute by the way) Russian guy who wanted to teach me to swim! He got my number and I got his number, he asked if I wanted to swim again this week and I said yes. I didn’t take this kind of guy seriously, because it’s not a big deal for me. If he wants to see me again, then he will text or call me, if he doesn’t then he won’t contact me. That’s simple. In fact, I have planned to swim on Saturday at my cousin’s place with my friend. So, I won’t depend on someone else on my swimming schedule. I stayed over at my friend’s place that night, we had late dinner near to her place and I slept so tight after. What a lovely weekend.

It’s been rainy in Jakarta since few weeks ago, heavy traffics are everywhere and I got caught by flu since the weekend. However, I’m feeling better today. Yesterday was a birthday of a friend. I don’t know what I am to him or what I was to him, but I can say that he is a special friend for me.

I went to a new magazine launching last nite, it was held in Hotel Indonesia Kempinski, a re-new and re-managed 5 star hotel in Jakarta. The venue was nice, there was fashion show, good wine, yummy canapés and I saw many good looking people.…I had good time. I met some new people and met some people from the past as well. I was a bit high last night after sipped 2 glasses of red wine before my dinner. I knew it, but I thought it wasn’t gonna be a big deal. In the end, I slept around midnight after said a little pray for his birthday. Happy Birthday and God bless you.
